Winter's Review: As my first official movie back from our Covid-19 hiatus, I was a little skeptical. Not that the previews hadn't looked amazing, and, of course, I adore both Emmas, but we've all lived through our fair share of horrible live-action remakes, so my hesitancy, at least to my mind, was justified.

I needn't have worried, though, because this movie was fantastic! The acting, the cinematography, the costume design, the storyline, and the music were all amazing! The Emmas - especially - were spectacular, and the wardrobe was to die for. It all made me feel as though this was the teen version of "The Devil Wears Prada!" I loved it!

Also, if you haven't already, be sure to download the soundtrack. It's phenomenal!

So, aside from the funky, weird CGI stuff with the dogs (though I understand why it was necessary), Cruella was an amazing movie-going experience and I recommend everyone watch it when you can (it's also on HBO Max & Disney+, so if you aren't yet comfortable venturing out, you can still enjoy it at your leisure!).
